Cookie Policy
Last updated: 9 May 2026. This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies GoaTech uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
01 // What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags. We use the term "cookies" loosely to refer to all of these.
02 // Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: required to authenticate you, keep you signed in, balance load and protect against abuse. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics: aggregated, de-identified usage stats that help us understand which features are useful and where users get stuck.
- Marketing: used to measure the performance of our campaigns and, where you've consented, to personalise content.
03 // Examples
Necessary cookies include the session cookie that keeps you logged in and a small CSRF token. Analytics may include a privacy-friendly first-party identifier. Marketing may include third-party pixels from ad platforms when enabled.
04 // Managing your choice
You can change your choice at any time using the button below. Your preference is stored locally on this device, so you may need to set it again on other devices or browsers.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but disabling strictly necessary cookies will break authentication and some core features.
05 // Third-party cookies
Where we embed third-party services (such as payment processing or analytics), those providers may set their own cookies subject to their policies. We only enable optional third-party cookies after you have accepted the relevant category.
